Canton Dim Sum & Seafood Restaurant has high quality, authentic dim sum for a reasonable price. They're not quite in Chinatown but a quick 8 minute drive outside at Folsom and Hawthorne, about a mile from the heart of Chinatown.

Hunan house is pretty good. Most on Castro are good. Hong kong bistro is "hong kong style western food". All worth a try.
